The main concern of the design was to incorporate many different functions within the building program such that rational concerns take precedence over the current fashion of playing with cultural references or studies in expressive form. The building program covers many different functions, all of which have different space requirements. The arrangement of the interior spaces presents a clear cut, simple solution that can be adapted to future modifications. Significantly, a strong rational response to the building programme has not resulted in a high-rise solution.Architecture2011
